Mall of Horror

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Mall of Horror is a survival board game for three to six players, designed by Nicolas Normandon and released in 2005, with artwork by Aleksi Briclot and Ben Carre. Each player controls three characters trapped in a shopping mall that is overrun by zombies. Players move between the mall's locations, negotiate alliances and vote on which character will be sacrificed to the zombies, using the limited safe places available to make sure their own survivors are the last ones standing. Its listed mechanics are dice rolling, player elimination and simultaneous action selection. A game takes around an hour, it is rated for ages fourteen and over, and it has appeared from publishers including Asmodee and Nexus Editrice. Board Game Matcher lists it in the horror category with a community rating of 3.3 out of 5.
