Dark Eden

card game

Dark Eden is an out of print collectible card game designed by Bryan Winter and published by Target Games starting in April 1997, sold in sixty card starter decks and fifteen card booster packs. It is set in the post apocalyptic universe of the Mutant Chronicles role playing game, where surviving human tribes and factions struggle for control of a ravaged Earth generations after industrial collapse and war. Players build decks representing these tribes and factions, using cards for characters, equipment and events drawn from the wider Mutant Chronicles fiction to battle for territory and resources. The game shared setting and some card concepts with Target Games' other Mutant Chronicles products but functioned as a standalone card game rather than requiring the tabletop roleplaying line.
