Bourré is a trick-taking gambling card game belonging to the rams family of card games. It is played chiefly in the Acadiana region of Louisiana in the United States, and it is also played on the Greek island of Psara, where it goes by the name Boureki. Its name is spelled in several ways, including Bouré and the phonetic Boo-Ray. As with many regional card games, it is played under a wide range of variant rules, both for how the cards are played and for how the betting is handled, so local tables often differ from one another.
