Acey Deucey, more usually called In Between, is a gambling card game in which a player bets on whether a third card will have a rank between those of the first two cards dealt. It is played with one standard 52-card deck, with the ace high and the two low, and suits are irrelevant. It is for two or more players and is probably best with around five to eight. In the commonest format the dealer acts as banker and puts a stake into the pot, then plays against each other player in turn until the pot is empty or a set number of deals has been played. The name Acey Deucey comes from the fact that an ace and a two make the best starting pair, with the widest spread between them. Another alias is Yablon, and a casino version is usually called Red Dog. It is sometimes played as an option in Dealer's Choice poker. It is not the backgammon variant also called acey-deucey.
