Tokyo Express: The Guadalcanal Naval Campaign - 1942 is a World War II naval wargame from 1988, designed by Jon Southard and published by Victory Games, for one or two players. It simulates the night battles fought off Guadalcanal. In solitaire play the player commands the American forces and waits for surprise attacks, while the two-player game recreates the historical naval combat with realistic mechanics and complexity that rises in stages. The rules use dice rolling and movement across a hexagon grid. A full game is long, with a play time of about six hours. The game is classed as a wargame that can also be played alone.
