MicroMacro: Crime City is a cooperative detective game designed by Johannes Sich and published by Edition Spielwiese, with Pegasus Spiele as its distributor. Its centrepiece is a very large black-and-white poster of a bustling city drawn in the style of a hidden object picture, crowded with small scenes of everyday life and with crimes taking place among them. A deck of case cards leads the players through the crimes one by one, sixteen in the publisher's description, by asking questions and setting tasks. The group leans over the map together, follows individual characters from street to street and reconstructs what happened from visual clues alone, with minimal rules and no text to read. The Spiel des Jahres jury lists the game for one to three players aged ten and over with a playing time of 15 to 45 minutes, while the publisher recommends one to four players. A board game database dates it to 2020.
