Dragon Strike is a 1993 adventure board game from TSR, Inc., based on the Dungeons and Dragons fantasy role-playing game and designed by Bruce Nesmith and Andria Hayday. It was meant as a gateway for beginners, including children as young as eight, who might later move on to the full Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game. One player acts as the Dragon Master, who picks a mission from the Adventure Book and answers the heroes with monsters, traps and treasure on a colourful map board, while each player holds a character card showing Armor Class, Speed, Attack Strength and Hit Points. Combat compares an Attack Strength roll with the target's Armor Class. The box held fold-out maps, cards, dice, plastic miniatures and an instructional VHS video, and the first printing of 100,000 copies sold out.
