Corona is a patience, or card solitaire, played with two decks and counted among the longer and harder members of that family. The aim is to move every card to the foundations, and winning is considered difficult. The layout has eight foundations that build up in suit from Ace to King and twelve tableau piles that build down in suit. Only one card moves at a time, either the top card of a tableau pile or the single card dealt from the stock. The stock is dealt one card at a time, automatically refills empty tableau spaces, and may be passed through only once. Its play is much like the family of games based on Napoleon at St Helena, but with twelve piles instead of ten, and it is nearly identical to the variant called Limited apart from the rule that the deck, not the player, refills empty piles.
