Radlands (game)

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Radlands is a two-player tabletop card game designed by Daniel Piechnick, a former Magic: The Gathering developer and player, and published by Roxley in 2021 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world and uses a bright neon art style, with illustration by Manny Trembley and Damien Mammoliti. Each player starts with three base camps to defend and wins by destroying all of the opponent's camps. On each turn players draw from a deck of characters and events; characters are placed in front of camps and shield them from direct attack, while events trigger a set number of turns later. Water is the main currency for playing cards and activating abilities, and each player begins a turn with three water tokens, which keeps the fast-moving play in check. Reviewers praised its quick, easy-to-learn tradeoffs.
