Star Wars: Destiny is a two-player collectible card game from 2016 that builds on the Star Wars setting and was designed by Corey Konieczka and Lukas Litzsinger for Fantasy Flight Games. Instead of relying on a draw each turn to fuel play, the game adds a dice economy: each round a player rolls the dice attached to their characters and then spends the results to play cards, attack and trigger abilities. Because the dice show what is available, a player pivots around the result rather than being locked out by a poor draw. Duels are short, lasting about thirty minutes, with open information and quickly alternating turns. Deck choices still matter, and early draws of support cards can swing a match, so some luck remains. The game was also issued by several regional publishers, and it suits players who want the Star Wars theme without committing to a very large card collection.
