Pax Pamir is a board game for one to five players, first designed by Cole Wehrle and Phil Eklund and released in 2015 by Sierra Madre Games; its second edition, designed by Wehrle alone, was published in 2019 by Wehrlegig Games. It portrays the struggle of the Russian, British and Durrani empires for dominance in Afghanistan, with each player taking the role of a local leader who may shift loyalty between coalitions. The board is a map of Central Asia, while a market of cards and a personal tableau called a court drive play: court cards give immediate effects and extra actions, event cards change conditions, and dominance check cards trigger scoring. Players place cylinders for spies and tribes and blocks for armies and roads. A solo mode uses an automated opponent called the Wakhan, and the game drew positive reviews and award nominations.
