Patchwork is a two-player tabletop game designed by Uwe Rosenberg and released in 2014. Each player starts with five buttons and takes turns moving a marker around a shared time track, on which fabric-like polyomino tiles are scattered. On a turn a player chooses one of the three tiles ahead of the marker, pays its cost in buttons and fits it onto a personal nine by nine quilt board; each tile moves the player a number of spaces along the track and earns buttons. The player who trails on the track takes the next turn, and may instead pass to collect a button for every space gained. A game ends when both markers reach the centre of the track, the most buttons wins, and each empty space on the quilt costs two buttons. A bonus tile can add seven points. The game has been reissued in several themed editions and received an Official Recommendation at the 2015 Spiel des Jahres.
