Ork! The Roleplaying Game

Role-Playing Games

Ork! The Roleplaying Game is a light-hearted tabletop role-playing game published by Green Ronin Publishing in 2000. It reverses the usual setup, because the players are the monsters, taking the roles of orks rather than heroes fighting them. The 64-page book was designed by Todd Miller and Chris Pramas and was the first publication of Green Ronin, released in July 2000, with a sample adventure included. Characters are built from four abilities named Meat, Bones, Twitch and Mojo, each given a die from four to twelve sides, with linked skills such as Smash, Sneak and Scent, and skill checks roll a number of those dice equal to the skill. A reviewer for Pyramid called it simple and a good introduction for novice gamers. Green Ronin published an expanded 160-page second edition in 2018.
