Doom: The Boardgame

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Doom: The Boardgame is an adventure board game designed by Kevin Wilson and published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2004. It is made for two to four players, and a 2016 edition widened that range to two to five. The game is based on the Doom series of first-person shooter computer games, though it resembles Doom 3 more than it does the first four Doom video games. A 2005 expansion set added difficulty levels, new game pieces, updated rules and rules for Deathmatch and Capture the Flag play. Fantasy Flight released Descent: Journeys in the Dark in 2005 and soon ceased production of Doom, then issued an updated version in 2016 that resembles the newly released DOOM.
