Conan Collectible Card Game

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

The Conan Collectible Card Game is an out-of-print collectible card game set in the fictional Hyborian Age of Conan the Barbarian. It was designed by Jason Robinette, produced by Comic Images and released in 2006. Each player takes on the role of their own Conan, who earns renown through deeds and adventures, while the opponent plays Conan's foes on the other player's turn. The two Conans are treated as living in parallel dimensions, so each exists only during its owner's active turn. A player wins by earning 40 renown or by defeating the opponent's Conan. Cards fall into types such as Conan, Foes, Allies, Regions, Moves, Items and Actions, and a turn moves through start, prepare, warrior and rest steps. Controlling the hero on your own turn and the enemies on the opponent's turn is a mechanism shared with games such as The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.
