Fantasy Land (board game)

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Fantasy Land is a board game designed by Gary Lange and published by Lange Games in 1981. Player characters are transported to Fantasyland, where they compete in World War I aerial dogfights, magical duels, gunfights, jousts, space battles and gladiatorial contests. In Issue 45 of The Space Gamer, Paul O'Connor reviewed it harshly, describing each game as a mindless exercise of rolling dice against a non-player opponent with little chance to execute any strategy, and calling the artwork poor. He found the premise an interesting idea but the execution inane.
