Elfquest (role-playing game)

Role-Playing Games

Elfquest is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game published by Chaosium in 1984, based on Wendy and Richard Pini's Elfquest comic series. It uses the comics' own setting, the World of Two Moons, and lets players either take the roles of elves from the comics such as Cutter, Skywise and Redlance, or build their own characters with skills drawn from a short list that includes Troll Lore and Wolf Riding. The first edition was created by Steve Perrin, Sandy Petersen and Yurek Chodak and came as a boxed set with a players' book, a gamemaster book, a world map, character sheets and dice. Chaosium followed it with supplements including The Elfquest Companion, The Sea Elves and Elf-War, and issued a paperback second edition in 1989.
