Quebec 1759 is a board wargame published in 1972 by Gamma Two Games, a company now known as Columbia Games. It simulates the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, which was fought outside the walls of Quebec in 1759. What set it apart when it appeared was its components: instead of the more traditional cardboard counters of wargames then, it used wooden blocks set on their edge, which the source describes as unique for a wargame in 1972. That block design is why the game is catalogued here as a block wargame.
