Direct Conflict in Dimension Six is a science fiction combat board game published in 1977 by Dimension Six, Inc. Two opponents compete for dominance through resource management and combat: players mine a mineral called Delium to manufacture missiles, travel between two game boards, ordinary space and a parallel Dimension Six board used for rapid travel, and can construct defensive structures, winning by destroying the opponent or conquering all planets. The set includes a mining-planet board, a secondary Dimension Six board, a ship's log pad, a rules booklet and a six sided die, and combat begins when opposing scout ships meet. Contemporary reviews were mixed, with one critic calling it too simple and rating it five out of ten while still recommending it as an accessible entry point for readers new to wargaming.
