Tactics II

Board wargame

Tactics II is a wargame created by Charles S. Roberts and released by Avalon Hill in 1958, representing Roberts's second design after his debut title Tactics. It was subsequently reissued in 1961 and 1972. The game is nearly identical to the original Tactics in all respects, with a slightly revised map and more detailed unit counters. Avalon Hill initially discontinued the game in 1972 because of rising production costs, but reintroduced it the following year in 1973 with more economical components, repositioning it as an introductory wargame aimed at newcomers to the wargaming hobby.
