Klask is a fast two player tabletop dexterity game designed by Mikkel Bertelsen and first released in 2014. Each player steers a figure on top of a wooden board by moving a magnet underneath it, and the aim is to flick a small red ball into the opponent's goal, which is a simple hole in the board. Three small white magnets lie on the playing surface as obstacles: if one sticks to a player's figure that player is in trouble, and if two attach to the same figure the opponent scores a point. A player who drags his or her own figure into the goal hole hands the opponent a point, which is called a Klask. The game plays in real time, a match lasts about ten minutes, it suits ages eight and up, and it is often described as a compact cousin of air hockey and table football that rewards quick reflexes and steady hands over rules knowledge.
