Azul is an abstract strategy board game designed by Michael Kiesling and released by Plan B Games in 2017. Its name is the Portuguese word for blue, and its theme comes from the Portuguese tiles called azulejos. Players collect sets of similarly colored tiles and place them on their own player board. When a row is filled, one of its tiles is moved into a square pattern on the right side of the board, where it earns points depending on where it sits in relation to the other tiles already placed there.
