Role-Playing Games

Torg is a cinematic cross-genre tabletop role-playing game created by Greg Gorden and Bill Slavicsek, with art by Daniel Horne, first published by West End Games in 1990. Its game resolution uses a single twenty-sided die, drama cards and a logarithmic results table, a system that later formed the basis for West End Games' 1992 science fiction game Shatterzone and its 1994 universal game Masterbook. West End Games produced over fifty supplements, novels and comics for the first edition, and a revised and expanded core rule book appeared in 2005. After West End Games closed in 2010, Torg was sold to Ulisses Spiele, which published a new edition, Torg: Eternity, in 2018 after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
