Star Trek Customizable Card Game

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

The Star Trek Customizable Card Game, often shortened to STCCG or ST:CCG, is a collectible card game set in the Star Trek universe that Decipher, Inc. first introduced in 1994 under the name Star Trek: The Next Generation Customizable Card Game. It is now out of print. A player aims to reach 100 points, chiefly by solving missions: personnel, ships and equipment are brought into play, a team travels to a mission, and the crew must face dilemma cards before its combined skills and attributes can meet the mission's requirements. Players can also battle each other, capture personnel and play events and interrupts that change the environment, and decks are usually built around affiliations such as the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Borg, Bajorans, Cardassians, Dominion and Ferengi. The game has two distinct editions, known to players as First Edition and Second Edition, which share many core elements. Expansions followed the television series and films, and the Deep Space Nine era is regarded by many players as the golden age of First Edition.
