Dimension Demons is a science fiction board wargame designed by Fred Askew and published by Metagaming Concepts in 1981 as the seventeenth title in its MicroGame line of compact, low cost strategy games. The game is designed for two players and pits opposing forces against each other on a small hex based map typical of the MicroGame series, which packaged complete wargames into inexpensive plastic bags rather than large boxed sets. Cover artwork was produced by Pat Hidy, with interior artwork contributed by Trace Hallowell alongside Hidy. The game later reached a Japanese audience through a localized edition published by Hobby Japan in 1988, extending its life well beyond its original American release. Dimension Demons reflects the broader MicroGame catalogue's approach of offering focused, rules light science fiction and historical conflict simulations that let hobbyist wargamers try many different settings without the cost of full sized productions.
