D6 System

Role-Playing Games

The D6 System is a role-playing game system published by West End Games and its licensees. It is named after the six-sided die, which is the only die used in every roll the rules require. Although the system was primarily intended for pen-and-paper role-playing games, variations of it have also been used in live action role-playing games and in miniature battle games. Because it is a rules system rather than a single game, the same dice mechanic is carried by the games its publisher and its licensees have released under it.
