Battle Dome was a pinball-style board game for two to four players, made by the American company Anjar and released in Japan by Tsukuda Original, a business later taken over by Pal Box and then Megahouse. The player drops balls into the upper part of a dome and they are released at regular intervals by a mainspring. The aim is to avoid having balls land in your own goal, and the game ends once every ball has gone into a goal. Yellow balls are worth one point and black balls five, and the player with the lowest score wins. Several versions followed, including American Battle Dome of 1994, a Super Nintendo video game, an arcade game, Super American Battle Dome with electronic flippers, and the 2010 Megahouse relaunch as Action Battle Dome.
