Voice of the Mummy is a three-dimensional board game that Milton Bradley published in 1971, notable for using an actual record player built into the box to narrate instructions during play. Two to four players, called Explorers, take the roles of tomb raiders navigating a three-level pathway around a central sarcophagus inside an ancient pharaoh's tomb. On each turn a player rolls a single die and moves around the steps while a concealed turntable plays one of roughly forty recorded messages directing the player's next action, some helpful and some setbacks. Players race to reach the mummy, claim the game's great jewel and the cobra's spell, then attempt to escape the tomb; the player who exits carrying the highest total jewel value wins the game.
