Unfathomable is a hidden-traitor board game for three to six players, released in 2021 and designed by Corey Konieczka and Tony Fanchi, with art by Henning Ludvigsen. Most players are human survivors aboard the ship Atlantica, while one or more are secretly Deep One hybrids working to drain the ship's four vital resources. Everyone draws on the same shared pool, so a traitor can damage a resource while appearing to solve a crisis. Players test their skill by contributing face-down cards to a pool that is then revealed, and a mythos deck keeps new crises coming. Traitors have variable powers, some better at sabotage and others at survival. A session runs about four hours and the game is rated medium-heavy, for ages fourteen and up. Fantasy Flight Games is among its publishers.
