Revolt On Antares

Modern Conquest and War Games

Revolt On Antares is a science fiction microgame designed by Tom Moldvay and produced by TSR, Inc. in 1981, sold in a transparent plastic shell case with a rulebook, a full-colour hex map, counters and one six-sided die. It belongs to a series TSR called minigames, which also included They've Invaded Pleasantville!, Remember the Alamo, Attack Force, Vampyre, Viking Gods, Icebergs and Saga. The action takes place on Imhirrhos, the ninth planet in the Antares system, where two to four players lead rival factions fighting for control of the planet as the influence of Earth's Imperial Terran Empire begins to weaken. The factions include seven ruling families or houses, Terran Empire forces, natives and the alien Silakkans, and players choose among three game scenarios.
