Battle Over Britain is a board wargame published in 1983 by SPI, which by then was a subsidiary of TSR. It simulates the Battle of Britain, the air campaign of 1940 in which the German air force and the defending British forces contested the skies over southern England. As a board wargame it lets players take the two sides and work through the campaign on the table.The game appeared late in the history of the SPI imprint, after the company had passed into the ownership of TSR, and so it shows the publishing line in its final period. Its subject is an air campaign, and its date and publisher place it within the history of hobby wargaming.
