Battle for Hue (wargame)

Modern Conquest and War Games

Battle for Hue is a tactical level board wargame first published by Simulations Design Corporation in 1973 and later reissued by Mayfair Games. It simulates the fierce urban combat of the Battle of Hue during the 1968 Tet Offensive in Vietnam. One player commands North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces while the other controls South Vietnamese and United States Marine forces, in a two player game that typically runs two to three hours. Play uses a five phase turn system representing twenty four hours of combat, with victory decided by unit destruction and control of the city's inner district.
