True Dough Mania

Games of Chance

True Dough Mania is a Canadian board game created by George J. Reti and released in 1982 by Chieftain Products. Subtitled a game of chance where you have no chance, the game was a satire on Canadian politics, with its title punning on Trudeaumania, the excitement around Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau during the 1968 election. Gameplay involves players managing Canadian businesses, rolling dice across a map of Canada, and drawing Cabinet Shuffle or Constitution cards in a manner similar to Monopoly. The distinctive winning condition is that the first player to lose all of their company's assets to the federal government wins.
