Yut, also known as yunnori, is a traditional Korean board and race game played with four wooden sticks flat on one side and rounded on the other, thrown like dice to determine how far a player's markers move around a cross-shaped track, with players able to stack their own markers to move them together and send opposing markers back to the start by landing on them. The game has been played in Korea since at least the early centuries of the common era and is traditionally associated with the Lunar New Year holiday, when families gather to play it, and it remains one of the best-known traditional Korean board games.
