Bonkers! is a race-style board game first published by Parker Brothers in 1978 and designed by Paul J. Gruen, later reissued by Milton Bradley, Winning Moves, and Hasbro Gaming under its long-running tagline It's Never the Same Game Twice. Two to four players move pawns around a fifty-five space looping track toward a set of scoring stations, aiming to be first to reach twelve points. Instead of a fixed board layout, players build the track's behavior as they go: after rolling dice to move, a player either places one of their own instruction cards face up on an empty space, or follows whatever card a previous player has already placed on the space they land on. Instruction cards include numbered movement cards, special cards such as Roll Again or Go to Start, and a penalty Lose space that removes points from whoever lands there, so the same physical board plays differently game after game as the mix of placed cards changes. A turn typically ends once a player lands on a scoring space, the Lose space, or an empty space after placing a single card. Later editions, including a 2016 Winning Moves release, returned to the original disco-themed artwork and rules.
