Cards Against Humanity is an American party card game in which players fill in the blank of a black question card by playing a white answer card, using words or phrases often deemed offensive, risque or politically incorrect. It was created by a group of eight alumni of Highland Park High School and officially released in May 2011, following a Kickstarter campaign begun in December 2010. Each round a rotating judge called the Card Czar reads the black card aloud, chooses the funniest or most fitting answer submitted by the other players, and awards that player the round; the design draws heavily on the format of Apples to Apples and on Mad Libs.
