Bookchase

Party and Word Games

Bookchase is a 2007 board game published by Art Meets Matter in which players compete to acquire six small books for their bookshelf by answering multiple choice trivia questions and landing on special board spaces. Designer Tony Davis said the game incorporates elements of Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly. Players move around the board using dice rolls, collecting color coded books from different literary categories until one player acquires all six books and reaches the center space to win. The game launched at the Hay Festival of Literature in 2007 and was later republished under the title The Great Penguin Bookchase.
