TriBond is a trivia and lateral thinking board game created by Tim Walsh, Dave Yearick and Ed Muccini, first published by Patch Products in 1990 with later editions from Everest Toys beginning in 2015, in which three or more players or teams try to identify the common bond linking three seemingly unrelated subjects presented together on a card, a link the designers termed a threezer. Players roll dice to move pieces around a triangular board, drawing category based cards at each space and scoring by successfully naming the connection among the three listed clues rather than by recalling an isolated fact. The game distinguished itself from earlier adult trivia games of its era by rewarding pattern recognition and lateral association over simple recall. TriBond has sold more than three million copies across fourteen countries since its 1990 launch, grown into six major editions, and inspired an unsold 2002 television pilot for Game Show Network hosted by Graham Elwood.
