The Mad Magazine Game, later reissued as Mad Magazine: The What-Me Worry? Game, is a board game produced by Parker Brothers in 1979 and developed in collaboration with the staff of Mad magazine. Its rules deliberately invert those of a conventional money-accumulation board game like Monopoly: rather than building wealth, players race to be the first to lose all of their money, moving counterclockwise around the board and rolling dice with their left hand. Card instructions and board spaces force sudden exchanges of money and position throughout play, so that no player can hold a steady advantage, keeping the game's satirical, anti-strategy premise intact from start to finish.
