Sir Mark Todd is a New Zealand equestrian who competes in eventing. He won individual Olympic gold in 1984 and 1988, four Badminton Horse Trials and five Burghley Horse Trials, and World Championship gold in 1990 and 1998. He was voted Rider of the 20th Century by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports and was the first New Zealander to compete at seven Olympic Games, holding the record for second most Olympic medals by a New Zealander with five across 1984 to 2012.
