Weet weet

Weet weet, also called wit-wit or throwing the play stick, is an Australian Aboriginal children's throwing game popular in some parts of Australia. The thrown object, itself called a weet weet or kangaroo rat, is traditionally a shaped wooden stick; because genuine weet weets are difficult to make today, modern players often substitute a juggling club or a tennis ball placed inside a stocking. The winner is whoever throws the weet weet the furthest or with the greatest accuracy. The game has deep roots in Aboriginal Australian culture, where the weet weet began as a hunting implement before it became primarily a recreational toy and game for children in certain communities.
