Sports

This category is the top-level index for the atlas's Sport entities: the formally organized competitive sports this atlas documents, each defined by its own rules, scoring system and governing structure, such as association football, athletics or swimming. Each entry covers the sport itself rather than an athlete, a competition or a governing body, which are filed under their own respective types elsewhere in the atlas.
