Paul Vincent Costello, born December 27, 1894, and died April 17, 1986, was an American rower and triple Olympic gold medalist. He won gold in the double sculls event at three consecutive Olympic Games, in 1920 at Antwerp, 1924 at Paris and 1928 at Amsterdam, becoming the first rower to win a gold medal in the same event at three consecutive Olympics. He was inducted into the United States Rowing Hall of Fame in 1956.
