Shin Minjun is a South Korean professional Go player born on January 11, 1999, in Seoul. He turned professional in 2012 and reached 9 dan, and as a teenager he studied under Lee Sedol, living at Sedol's home from March to July 2013. He won the Globis Cup under-20 tournament in 2019, the KBS Cup the same year, the Myeongin domestic title in 2022 and the Crown Haitai Cup in 2023, and took the LG Cup world championship in 2021 by defeating eight-time world champion Ke Jie two games to one before winning the title again in 2026, also earning a gold medal with South Korea's men's team at the 2022 Asian Games.
