Esther Vergeer is a Dutch former wheelchair tennis player who went unbeaten in singles competition for more than a decade, from 2003 until her retirement in 2013, a streak of well over four hundred consecutive matches regarded as one of the longest winning runs in the history of any sport. She won seven Paralympic gold medals and finished her career ranked world number one continuously for that entire unbeaten span.
