Ding Junhui is a Chinese professional snooker player born April 1, 1987, and the most successful Asian player in the sport's history. He has won 15 ranking tournament titles, including three UK Championships in 2005, 2009 and 2019 and the 2011 Masters, and in December 2014 he became the first Asian player ever to reach the world number one ranking. He was also the first Asian player to reach a World Championship final, in 2016, and has made seven maximum breaks of 147 in professional play.
