Brian Cappelletto is an American Scrabble competitor who was runner up at the inaugural World Scrabble Championship in 1991 and won the title in 2001. He also won the United States National Scrabble Championship in 1998 and was runner up there in 2008 and 2010, and author Stefan Fatsis featured him in the book Word Freak, calling him Scrabble's first child prodigy.
