Mark Nyman is a British competitive Scrabble player who won the second World Scrabble Championship in 1993, held in New York, becoming the first British player to take the world title. He has remained active in the competitive Scrabble community for decades afterward as a player, commentator and organizer, and is regarded as one of the strongest British players of his generation.
