Kohei Uchimura is a Japanese former artistic gymnast widely regarded as one of the greatest all-around gymnasts in history, nicknamed King Kohei. He won the men's individual all-around gold medal at both the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics, and he won a record six consecutive World Championship all-around titles between 2009 and 2015. His long streak of dominance in the sport's most prestigious individual event was unmatched in the modern era of gymnastics.
