Svetlana Khorkina is a Russian artistic gymnast born January 19, 1979, who specialized in the uneven bars. She won Olympic gold on uneven bars at both the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Games, part of seven career Olympic medals overall, and won 20 World Championship medals including three all-around titles in 1997, 2001 and 2003, becoming the first gymnast ever to win three world all-around titles.
